The New York Dock Building

Beyond the workplace

Defined by monumental scale, soaring volumes and authentic industrial character, the renovation celebrates the historic fabric and adds contemporary interventions that complement the original architecture.

The New York Dock Building

A living cultural landmark

Completed in 1913 as part of the New York Dock Company's waterfront operations, 160 Imlay was built to serve one of the busiest ports in the world. Its monumental concrete structure carried the ambition and permanence of New York's industrial age.

The renovation keeps the historic fabric and adds contemporary interventions that complement the original architecture instead of competing with it.
